The Layout of Sic-bo

At first glance, the layout of sic-bo may seem to be too complex but in reality it is quite a simple one. Just like the table being used in a game of craps and roulette, the betting options accessible on the layout of sic-bo clearly involves different combinations that you can roll using the three dice of the game. These combinations and their payments are signified on the gaming table and arranged into four simple rows. Game players bet on as many of the combinations as they want and after individual shake of the dice, the result is shown on the layout through lights below the table that are lit when a desired combination wins. Here you will find the actual positioning of sic-bo as well as a breakdown of the location of the various bets on the sic-bo layout.

First Row: Single Number Bets

The initial row below contains the single number bets, which is termed as such because bets are placed on the presumption that one of the six numbers on the dice will be hit on the succeeding roll.

Second Row: Two Number Combinations Bets

The next row located down below contains the two number combination bet which is represented on the layout. Betting is placed on the combination of two numbers on the dice.

Third Row: Three Number Totals Bets

The third row below the sic-bo layout is the one that signifies what are called as the three number bets. In these bets, you are actually wagering on the final sum of the numbers in the succeeding roll. Avoid betting on either a three or thirteen, which can yield poor results if you choose to select your bet and place it on this portion of the sic-bo layout.

Fourth Row: Triple and Pair Bets, Big and Small Bets

The top row above the sic-bo layout is the region for placing of the triple and doubles bet as well as the big and small bets. You can wager on a particular group of triples, any particular group of pairs or any triple which will be hit at the following roll. The big and small bets, located in the left and right portion of the layout of sic-bo, involves placing a bet on whether or not the accumulated sum of the subsequent roll of the dice will range from four and ten or eleven and seventeen, representing the small or big bet, respectively.
